Thank you for downloading Adjacent! We are a platform that helps communities better support the innovation happening within them, tied together by the global overarching Adjacent community. Our goal is to radically increase access to the support people creating Projects need to succeed, and to do so in a way where everyone who has helped them move forward succeeds as well. We are made for universities, corporations, tech transfer offices, incubators, and every community in between.

Getting Started

Project Creators — Have a Project idea in mind? Set up your Project Profile with a nice photo and brief description of what you’re working on. Make sure to fill out the Needs section, which helps others help you in defined, targeted ways.

Project Collaborators — Want to help others succeed? We make it easy to Explore and Follow projects that you want to stay connected with, whether it is research, art, starting a business, or social activism. Once you find a group of Projects you want to help, you gain Collaborator points when you solve a Need for Project Creators. If you do especially well with your help, you might get a Coffee from a Project Creator or other Collaborator.

This gamified process of sharing what you need help with enables Project Creators the ability to build a customized community of people that want to help you succeed, and gives you the Project Collaborators the ability to see the positive impact your feedback and advice has on the Projects around you.

Our goal is to radically increase access to opportunity for everyone across the globe, and to make it fun doing so.
